A jail in Pohang, South Korea is going to have 3 robotic guards that will be used for monitoring abnormal behaviors in prisoners. The robots stand at 5 feet and was created for a Asian Forum for Corrections. The bots are wheeled and equipped with cameras and sensors to monitor prisoners. If a prisoner is acting unusual it will report it to a human guard. The robots are not made to interact with prisoner just there to monitor but to also make a prisoner feel as comfortable as possible.
